AID 2004 Exhibition Equipment, Accessories and Products for the Disabled Tel Aviv, Israel May 11-13, 2004 Dear Exhibitor, The Disabled Persons' Organization was established in 1999 to increase awareness in the public and governmental authorities for the 150,000 persons who receive disability grants from the government. This will also bring about improved living conditions for the handicapped. The importance of the AID 2004 Exhibition, which takes place every two years, is due to the fact that it gives the handicapped population a chance to see the wide range of possibilities and means to better their lives. The Exhibition also gives an opportunity of direct contact between specialized manufacturers and their clients, as well as the opportunity to purchase products at much lower prices. The handicapped have to deal with difficulties and discrimination on a daily basis, which we are trying to overcome.
